Deep relaxation: a restorative yoga workshop
This workshop is intended for yoga students who are interested in deepening their restorative yoga practice, as well as for yoga teachers who want to learn how to effectively teach and incorporate restorative poses into their classes. Together, we’ll explore the principles of restorative yoga, the art of prop placement, and the importance of creating a calming and accessible environment for all bodies. Participants will gain hands-on experience, leave with a toolkit of supported postures, and learn how to guide others into deep rest with confidence and care. Whether you're looking to enrich your personal practice or expand your teaching skills, this workshop offers a space to slow down, reconnect, and restore.

Practice teach clinic
Teaching clinics are designed for newer yoga teachers who are ready to refine their skills, build confidence, and receive personalized feedback in a supportive and encouraging environment. These clinics offer a chance to practice teaching full or partial classes while exploring key elements such as sequencing, cueing, theming, and voice development—all with real-time guidance. Whether you're preparing for auditions, planning your first classes, or simply seeking more experience post-training, the Practice Teach Clinic provides a nurturing space to grow, experiment, and step more fully into your authentic teaching voice.
Duration: 2 hours.

Sensual yoga for survivors of violence: lecture & Q&A
This dynamic session sits at the intersection of social justice, trauma healing, and queer and trans liberation—inviting participants to reimagine the role of yoga and spiritual practice in movements for radical change. Grounded in lived experience and rigorous study, the lecture uncovers often-erased histories of yoga, exposes systems of harm within mainstream wellness spaces, and calls practitioners into meaningful, embodied solidarity. Designed for yoga teachers, studios, and community organizers, this offering provides critical frameworks, practical tools, and a bold invitation to align our practices with collective healing and liberation. Each session runs approximately one hour and includes time for interactive Q&A and discussion.

Queer and trans yoga: lecture & Q&A
This dynamic lecture sits at the intersection of social justice, yoga, and queer and trans liberation, challenging participants to rethink the role of spiritual practice in movements for radical change. Queer and trans folks deserve spaces where our sensuality, healing, and wholeness are honored. This offering invites a journey of self-discovery through intentional movement and collective care—within a sacred queer space rooted in embodiment, affirmation, and deep healing. Together, we create a practice that celebrates queerness as sacred, healing as a shared revolutionary act, and the mat as a space to explore bodily autonomy without judgment or expectation. Each lecture lasts approximately one hour and includes time for interactive Q&A and discussion.

200 & 300-hour yoga teacher training module: restorative yoga
This Restorative Yoga module is designed for yoga students seeking to deepen their personal practice, as well as for teachers-in-training who want to skillfully incorporate restorative postures into their classes. Offered as part of a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, this 3–4 hour workshop introduces the philosophy, principles, and techniques of restorative yoga. Participants will learn how to set up and support key restorative poses, use props effectively, and create nurturing, trauma-informed environments that invite deep rest and healing. A comprehensive participant guide is provided, offering detailed instructions, sequencing tips, and practical tools to support continued learning and teaching beyond the training.

30-hour continuing education training: restorative yoga
This 30-hour Restorative Yoga training is designed for yoga teachers who want to deepen their understanding of restorative practices and confidently incorporate them into their classes. Offered either as a standalone continuing education course or as part of a 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training, this module covers key restorative asanas, creative and effective use of props, and hands-on adjustment techniques to support students in finding true rest. Trainees will also engage in practice teaching to refine their skills and develop a nurturing, trauma-informed presence. A detailed participant guide is included to support ongoing learning and integration after the training.
